The League of Friends of Stratton Hospital were pleased to match fund to help the Bude Community First Responders to acquire a 4 x 4 Response Vehicle to help reach more remote areas of Bude and the surrounding community.
These volunteers are all medically trained to respond to 999 calls and are a valuable service to the needs of the local area.
These First Responders are required to assist the already over stretched SWAST and they do a fantastic job, we were very pleased to be involved and to help this good cause.
